   What is Osteopathy?

Shoulder Treatment

Osteopaths work with the individual structure and function of peoples’ musculoskeletal system, aiming to treat the whole body to promote healing, optimal function and health. This is achieved by working with the body’s soft tissue structures; muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia and also the joints. Treatments often include deep tissue massage, stretching of soft tissue structures and joints and, where appropriate, manipulation of joints.

Osteopaths treat a wide range of issues from sudden on-set back or neck pain to long standing postural issues and restricted movement in joints. We can also treat sports injuries.

All Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
